I got this for my suv because of the need to have more than one cigarette lighter port. I use the Belkin magnetic charger for my iPhone, which is always plugged in and takes up my cigarette lighter port. I got tired of unplugging and plugging that back in, when I needed to use the port for my portable car vacuum, tire gauge/pump etc. I was pleased with this purchase. I have had it for months and have not had any issues. I like that it has an on/off button for each port, so that if one is not in use, you can turn it off. The inclusion of spare fuses was nice as well. I didn¡¯t notice the additional plug options on this adapter until I received it and it was nice(usb and c type). That allows charging of other devices as well. The adapter can be adjusted to tilt a certain way to give better accessibility or fit in the vehicle. I will say, this is a big adapter and will take up some space , but depending on the build of your vehicle it will not matter. I have used it in several different vehicles and it functions just fine. I say it was worth the money for the added convenience.
This power adapter fits snugly into the 12v socket with out wobbling or too tight to be inserted. I like the 45 degree +/- up/down tilt to adjust for placement. The tilt is analog so any angle between -45 to +45 is optional, and the tension is adequate to hold the position. There is no ratcheting setting.
The ability to turn off each outlet independently is a big plus. I frequently find my trips taking me through the state of Virginia. RADAR detectors are illegal there. It is nice to just have my navigator press a button and keep us legal in that area. In the past the hassle of unplugging the detector from the old multi port adapter always seemed to result in other chargers, or plugins needing to be checked to make sure they were still powered.
The voltmeter, a nice touch, simply supplements the one built into the truck as a redundant digital confirmation of my charge status.
It advertises as coming with 2 additional fuses. It does, and the one I received also had a thin split rubber sleeve which I did not use, but it looks like it could be used to snug up a plug that fits too loosely. Another nice touch.
I read in several reviews about it not turning off when the ignition is turned off. In my vehicles the power port is not always hot. So when the ignition is off the port is not energized. For those with always hot ports, just use the two power buttons to kill the power to whatever is plugged in. Things plugged to the 5v charging ports will draw so little power, that if that is a concern, it is time for a new battery.
I would recommend purchasing this to others, and at this point would buy another if needed.

I purchased two of these one for my personal vehicle and one for my work truck. The ability to turn off one side or the other when not in use is very handy. The voltage readout is useful for making sure you have power to the splitter. Multiple USB ports make charging and use of GPS easy. The built in fuse for protection adds a sense of safety.

Does what it’s supposed to do lol. Haven’t tried it with multiple things plugged into yet, but works for me now. Only thing, I was sad cuz the one I got had the blue color first on the left and pink on the right…but the picture shows the pink color first…which I wanted cuz I like pink so that would be my side (drivers side) and blue for passenger side…so colors were reversed, but that’s just a cosmetic thing. But still sad about it lol
My car has 1 “cigarette” outlet that’s connected to the battery at all times. I use a 12v cooler for camping and bought this to allow me to connect a solar panel charger to the same outlet to reduce the draw on my car battery, but the does not work that way. The voltage at the solar panel was a steady 13v but when I plugged it into this splitter, the voltage on the splitter bounces between 7v and 19v.
I’m sure this thing will work great under “normal” circumstances, but it’s not what I need for my solar trickle charger.
Splitter is exactly what I need. I love that there is a button for each side to turn off whatever you have plugged in without disturbing the power to the other thing. Would definitely recommend!
